Education Time
Well I've been talking with Jack about his private area (basically good touch/bad touch talk) A friend of mine had a get together Friday night. Jack had to go pee. S a little girl followed Jack in the bathroom. J (a boy) also decided to follow Jack. As Jack is peeing he had some little toy in his hand. J asks what he's holding. Jack responses "MY WEEWEE" but S doesn't have one. Gotta work on teaching that child discreetness.

Confused- why is it so hard to quit?
I've been contracting with an at home company since August of last year. Well I haven't actually really worked them since Dec. They have a client that I feel like I should take a shower after taking their calls.
Okay I normally say "Buyer Beware" I don't force you to pick up the phone and call me. Well my issue is that I feel that there is a responsibility not to take orders for criminals. As a Christian- we have responsibility for the products we sell? I worked for a family that I could tell walked the Christian walk and they must have influenced me for the better. Because when I contract I'm told to run my own business. Well since I worked for them, I know they would not condone any type dishonesty and wouldn't do it. I take the min. to stay active but my issue is that I have to pay a phone line that I don't need.....but I can't seem to leave this company because there are a few special events I like to take calls for......grr.......

Why is it our parents forgot to tell us how our children can embarrass us?
I love my mom. She prepared me for the ups and downs of motherhood...or so I thought.
I'm starting to find out how much she forgot to mention. Around three years old children start having a great imagination. I remember her telling me that. What she didn't mention was that my son was going to become a Jackabear.
What exactly is a Jackabear? Its a three year old Jack that decides he's now a bear. He realizes that bears must have shoes on their front feet. So he puts shoes on his hands and feet. Then when its time to go ANYWHERE he walks like a bear on all fours.
I finally convinced Jackabear that he's not allowed in stores so he needs to act like a boy. (yes you read that right) Well he consents to riding in the cart (Could you imagine a three year old walking through Wal-mart on all 4?) He does insist on wearing all four shoes. The whole time we are in Wal-mart he roars at passer-bys who think he's adorable when he yells "MOMMABEAR I SCARED THEM"
He even groars at the guy in front of us in line- (Thank goodness he had two toddlers with him) I'm assuming he's a grandfather because his comment is to enjoy this, they should outgrow it. (Yes I enjoy going in public with my son that roars at everything)
When we get home and he gets out of the car and proceeds to walk in the house on all fours. I hate to admit I smile and enjoy the moment. The awful truth is I'm thinking of how I'm going to enjoy telling this to his future girlfriends.

Ducks say Quack
Before you think I'm nuts I've gotta brag on my little girl. She's learning so much from her big brother. She picked up a ducky in the bathtub last night. I asked her what it was she told me "Duck" I asked what it said"quack"
Jake has some statues of tigers and she crawled to one and said "Kitty" (pretty good since we don't own any cats) I think she's learned the difference between Rock and Sweetie because she'll call them "Ock, ettie" Although I'm not too sure b/c there was a black dog at the paintball field that she kept calling "eetie"

I’m so proud of my little man! He has been potty trained for me since he was almost 2 with few accidents with me, at home. But when we took him in public he’ld still have accidents. He also was too shy to tell any one he had to go.
Well last week he decided HE wanted to wear underwear so I made him put a pull-up underthem for bible study. He told the ladies at the nursery he had to go potty. I decided to switch him to underwear only. Then he had an accident at the park and I made him leave because "Babies don’t get to play at the big boy park"
That must have made an impression on him because he stopped playing today in enough time to go the super long distance to go potty. Then while I was at the gym he told the lady working there he had to go potty and he did a full potty for her! Normally if he goes to bed he will either stay dry (most nights) or if he has to pee, he’ll go in the diaper, He woke up to tell me he had to go then went right to bed.
I’m not sure what to do about pre-school and the fact he’ll have a new teacher but I’m really opposed to putting him back in pull-ups.
Since I’m moving Lexi back into cloth- I may not have to buy diapers for a while!!
The sad thing is Lexi has started being interested in the potty and gone in the potty once when I was letting her air out, so she may be ready this summer to potty train- I really wanted a long break between training since I made so many mistakes training Jack. (Not being firm, going back in forth from pullup to underwear, letting him decide what to wear, not being consistent- its amazing this kids not going to college in pullups)
